We usually ship every day (sometimes twice a day!) but always aim to ship within 24 hours of purchase. We use Evri as the drop off shops are open when the Post Office isn’t. It’s a 2-4 day service but usually arrives within 2-3 working days.
Need your kit faster? We also offer Evri's faster 1-2 day service for an extra £2. We use Royal Mail international tracked for non-UK orders.
They facilitate the circulation of a descaling solution, they work in exactly the same way a coffee machine does a descale cycle.
Quite a few of our customers have shifted limescale by doing a ‘static descale’ - leave the EASY-SCALE™ attached and let the descaling solution work its magic overnight. Try the pump again the next morning. It doesn’t work in all cases but certainly worth a try.
If that‘s not worked, the chances are it’ll probably be a failed impeller or flow sensor. Don’t fret, both are cheap and fairly easy to replace and certainly not as daunting to replace as you may think. Your EASY-SCALE kit is a very handy tool for testing your pump during and after repairs, aswell as it’s main purpose, a descaling device. We sell impeller kits for Lay Z Spa pumps on our accessories page.
No. As mentioned above, there could be a mechanical issue with your pump such as a failed impeller, blocked or dirty filter, crushed pipes or suchlike. They don't give the kiss of life to failed impellers etc but do flush out limescale and any remnants of multifunction tablets, a common cause of E02 errors.
Every EASY-SCALE kit comes with a free sachet of Oust to get you going straight out of the box**
We don’t think it’s right and ethical to profiteer from selling Oust when it's readily available in most supermarkets, B&M etc.
We would recommend 3-4 times a year but it doesn’t hurt to do it more frequently or repeat treatments, especially in severe hard water areas. There's no such thing as over-descaling your egg.
A good guide is to look in your kettle to see how much limescale build up you are getting. Limescale is very damaging to heating components and an EASY-SCALE™ kit is vital to eradicate this. It’s a one-off insurance policy against limescale.
Yes. You get a free spare pair at time of purchase, but they're £1.95 per pair if bought afterwards. We also sell A, B&C (air, coupling) washers. All available via our Lay Z Spa Airjet or Accessories page
Here's a link to a YouTube video on how to strip down your Lay Z Spa (Saluspa) Airjet pump, test the flow sensor and a list of things that cause E02 errors.
We also have our own dedicated Youtube channel for other stripdown, instruction and general guidance videos.
The E02 error is a water flow detection error usually caused by one of the following faults.
I have tried to list them from the easiest and most common to the most difficult. Regularly descaling the egg eradicates most of these issues as it removes the limescale that causes the problems.
1. Clogged or dirty filter
2. Blocked inlet debris filter
3. Blocked outlet debris filter
4. You are using Multi-function tablets. They contain an ingredient that goes like frogspawn and clogs the heater matrix . Stop using them and use chlorine granules or tabs. You'll need to remove the frogspawn substance either manually (by stripping the pump) or flush out using an EASY-SCALE™
5. Stuck flow sensor
6. Broken flow sensor
7. Faulty flow sensor
8. Blocked pump
9. Stuck pump impeller
10. Broken or damaged pump impeller
11. Broken or damaged pump impeller shaft
12. Blocked heater matrix
13. Scaled up heater matrix
14. Crushed/ kinked inlet pipe
15. Crushed/kinked outlet pipe
16. Blocked tub inlet pipe
17. Blocked tub outlet pipe
18. Blocked egg inlet pipe
19. Blocked egg outlet pipe
20. Blocked pump
21. Water level below inlet filter in tub
22. Control circuit board not receiving a signal from flow sensor ( wiring)
23. Control circuit board not receiving a signal from flow sensor ( faulty circuit board )
